Rapinoe scored ten goals in her time as a junior and was a top-scorer in the US. However, her sophomore season ended in a snub due to injuries to her ACL. The team was cut after two games in 2007 due to the same ACL injury. Rapinoe's recovery allowed her to assist the Pilots to win 20 games in 2008.
